Well, to start, they’re silky smooth under any outfit. But more importantly, if you run hot—and are one of those people who’s constantly setting the thermostat to “meat locker” temperature—these are going to be a revelation.

Our slip shorts are made of hi-tech fabric that lowers the body temperature. (If you want to get geeky about it, the flat cross-section of the yarn offers a wide surface area that quickly releases body heat from your skin.) The yarn texturizing process gives the shorts incredible breathability; the finished ultra-thin fabric is a breeze to wear, literally.

Think of them as a combination between an old-school slip, a boxer brief and a bike short: They give you coverage under short or too-sheer outfits, stop your inner thighs from trying to start a forest fire, and light smoothing with no VPL (the word “panties” weirds us out, too). Plus, the knit-in cotton-rich crotch means you can wear them without underwear if you want, eliminating the need for an extra layer.

Nearly perfect! My summer lifesaver

I have a painful cyst on my upper inner thigh that requires me to wear a bandaid to cover it. Friction is a big issue because it can both inflame the cyst and rub off a bandaid. These shorts are so soft and light and keep the bandaid in place and me pain-free. They are so thin that I can wear them under just about anything. The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars is that the legs roll up often which can cause an uncomfortable feeling and unsightly lines under clothes. Even with that, they’ve been a lifesaver and I’ve worn them most days since I bought them!

I have a handful of 5" shorts that I'd bought... they were good but not great. I bought the shorter length because I hate the thought of the shorts being visible with shorter skirts, but the middle of my thighs still rubbed, defeating the purpose. Exactly what I was looking for!

I just got back from a vacation in Japan where it was very hot and humid and we walked 25k steps a day. These shorts were perfect and saved my legs tremendously. My thighs chafe every summer and it’s so painful so I’m very happy with my purchase. I wore them under pants, dresses, and rompers and they didn’t roll up at all. Now they say they are “cooling” which I did not experience but more so moisture wicking which still worked great! I went one day without them on accident and it was SO bad. That’s how I knew the shorts were working. As soon as I wore them again I had no issue. I got the 9” cooling and they were perfect. If my dress was shorter I just rolled them up a bit and still worked great! Stick true to size and if your legs chafe, GET THESE NOW!!!
