We know, right? It’s partly because of the clever construction of our women's cargo shorts, partly because of the first-rate fabric blend and partly because it supports your body without feeling constricting. Plus, IT HAS A POCKET.
They're both! We’re glad you asked. Think of them as a combination between an old-school slip, a boxer brief and a bike short: They give you coverage under short or too-sheer outfits, stop your inner thighs from trying to start a forest fire, and light smoothing with no VPL (the word “panties” weirds us out, too). Plus, the knit-in cotton-rich crotch means you can wear them without underwear if you want, eliminating the need for an extra layer.
Thigh Society shorts don’t compress you or suck you in like shapewear. Instead, they’re a lightweight, breathable, sweat-wicking essential you’ll reach for again and again.
Flexible and stretchy, our waistband is made from the same fabric as the shorts, just double-folded and sewn-in. It stretches to your curves, never cuts into them. The waistband is like the Loch Ness Monster: you’ll doubt it really exists.
The pocket is made of the exact same fabric as the shorts, and sewn in with a flat seam that sits flush against your body. No added bulk aside from the treasures you decide to stash in it.
When the package first arrived I noticed there were some creases, no problem, they'd stretch out when I put it on. But when I wore the shorts I found that along those creases, the fabric was darker, causing weird faint visible lines, almost like water stains. I'm hoping this is normal and they go away with a wash, otherwise I'd be a bit disappointed.
For my size, really happy with the fit and length, I only wore them briefly, but they hit my leg at the perfect spot for above-the-knee skirts and dresses and felt like they'd stay put with movement. They're very comfy.
I have these in a 5xl/6xl and they fall down. I have now sized down to a 3xl/4xl and they fit.
For reference the green pair in the pic are the 3xl/4xl cargo and the black pair are 5xl/6xl cotton.
I do love these shorts to wear under dresses and skirts without pockets as the side pocket is perfect for my phone.
It's normal to be skeptical about certain clothing brands that say "doesn't rise... doesn't squeeze....etc." but Thigh Society isn't lying! I was struggling to find comfortable shorts for the gym, and these are perfect. I no longer worry about having to adjust them or pull them down. They are so soft and comfortable and I feel very confident wearing them. Highly recommend!
This was my first order of the Cargo. I have at least 5 pairs of the Cooling. The Cargo are noticeably thicker and more opaque. I got these because they have the pocket. I haven’t used the pocket yet but I love the idea that if I’m wearing a dress or skirt without pockets I can put something in the pocket.
